About Course

Public law is one of the seven foundation modules required for a qualifying law degree in England and Wales and is a core requirement of the University of London LLB and CertHE Common Law courses. This module is concerned with the core features of the UK constitution and examines the impact of both EU membership and Council of Europe membership.

The students of the UOL generally gets the opportunity to sit for the examination twice (May & October) in an academic year. The students in this module are required to answer 4 out of 8 question. Where they can get both the problem and essay questions. The students will be evaluated with 100 marks question which will be completely written based examination.

What Will You Learn?

  • You will learn to explain the nature and purpose of the UK constitution.
  • You will learn to describe the characteristic of the EU and its implication to the UK constitution.
  • You will learn to access the implication of the Human Rights Act 1998 and the ECtHR into the UK domestic courts
  • You will learn to evaluate the suggestion for the reform in the UK and EU.
  • You will learn by this lesion how to answer the question prudently and efficiently.
