About Course
Jurisprudence and legal theory is a compulsory module on the LLB course. Jurisprudence poses fundamental questions about the nature of law, its purpose, its place in society and how a legal system operates as a system of rules and as a social institution engaging with ideals of justice and often conflicting moral codes.
The students of the UOL generally gets the opportunity to sit for the examination twice (May & October) in an academic year. The question of this module is divided in two parts, where a compulsory Part A requires the students to answer 1 essay question out of 3 question. On the other hand students in Part B is required to answer 3 essays out of 7 question. However, students are not allowed to answer same topic in both part. The students will be evaluated with 100 marks question which will be completely written based examination.
