About Course

This module deals with the rules and principles governing the creation and operation of trusts – a particular method of holding property that developed historically primarily to preserve family wealth, particularly by minimising liability to taxation. The syllabus focuses on three broad areas: the requirements for establishing a valid trust (including express private trusts; charitable trusts; implied and resulting trusts; constructive trusts);the powers and obligations of trustees under a valid trust;

The students of the UOL generally gets the opportunity to sit for the examination twice (May & October) in an academic year. The question of this module come with a single part where students need to answer 3 question out 7. Where they can get both the problem and essay questions. The students will be evaluated with 100 marks question which will be completely written based examination. Each Question would carry 33 marks.
